How the trial works

Four steps, usually done in one sitting.

1. Create your login

Use Google or your email. You get a verification code by email.

2. Answer a few questions

Company, country, phone number, how many chargers you have and whether they support OCPP 1.6J.

3. Connect your charger

Enter the connection details shown in the console into your charger settings. No hardware change.

4. Run a session

Start a charge, pay by QR code and watch the session appear on the dashboard.

Do I need a credit card to start? +
No. The 14-day trial starts without a card.
What happens after the 14 days? +
You choose a plan to continue. Plans start at R 399 per month for one charger, plus a 5% transaction fee on the charging revenue you collect. See the pricing for the other plans.
Will my charger work with the platform? +
It needs to support OCPP 1.6J. The sign-up form asks you, and if your charger is not compatible we tell you straight away. You can also look at chargers we supply and install.
Do I have to replace any hardware? +
No. You change the server settings in your existing charger and it connects to the Plug n Drive platform.
Can I test more than one charger? +
The trial covers one charger. If you manage more, request a demo and we will set up a test with you.
Can I take a second trial? +
There is one trial per company and phone number.
I only have one charger at home. Is this for me? +
The trial is built for businesses. If you want to share your home charger and earn from it, use Neighbour Host instead.
